Communion & Special Services

CommunionWe gather around the Lord’s table to be fed by the risen Christ and equipped for mission in the world.

Communion is normally celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. We serve by intinction, which means the congregation comes forward to have the body of Christ broken for them, and to choose wine or grape juice. A separate server with gluten-free wafers and a cup is always present for those who need it. Helpful information about the communion service is included in the bulletin each Communion Sunday.

All members and guests are welcome at the Lord’s table.

Special Services

We rejoice in many special services throughout the year that involve our members, guest speakers, and youth. Many of them follow the church calendar and revolve around liturgical seasons in the life of the church.

Weddings, memorial services, and baptisms are available for members. Our wedding policy is to celebrate with members only. Couples should contact the pastor to begin making plans and pick up a copy of the wedding handbook. Baptisms are also reserved for Westminster families; contact the pastor about the opportunity to baptize a family member at Westminster.
