    • Sneakers
    • Backpacks
    • Shorts
    • Deodorant
    • Sports bras
    • Mens’ belts
    • Sleeping bags
    • Tents
    • Workboots

Open Table Ministry (OTM) seeks out and guides those experiencing homelessness and poverty to long-term health and wholeness by building ongoing trusting relationships, meeting practical and personal needs, making connections to community resources, and bridging critical gaps in the social services system.

  4. News & Articles : 2018 Easter Offering

WPC’s annual Easter offering will be collected on Sundays, March 25 and April 1. Half of the offering will support One Great Hour of Sharing, an ecumenical effort that began in 1949, and continues to provide relief to those affected by natural disasters, provide food to the hungry, and assist in helping to empower the poor and oppressed.

Children are invited to collect their offering for One Great Hour of Sharing in a colorful fish bank. Fish banks are brought in during the children’s Palm & Fish Bank Parade at both worship services on Palm Sunday, March 25. If you need a fish bank, you can pick up one in the lobby of the Mission Center.

The other half of WPC’s Easter offering will go to Rebound. Rebound gives Durham Public Schools high school students on short-term suspension the opportunity to continue their studies while suspended from school. It helps students to stay on top of schoolwork during suspension; develop self-knowledge and improve self-esteem; gain effective communication and conflict management skills; and reconnect with family, school staff, and the larger community.
