  1. News & Articles : Shop for School Supplies for Haiti

    Every Sunday in March
9:45-10:45am and 12-1pm in the Courtyard

The team going on the Haiti Education Mission Trip in April will be taking lots and lots of school supplies to 240 children in pre-K through 2nd grade at the Haiti Outreach Ministries School in Port au Prince.

Help them fund school supplies by “shopping” at their store in the Courtyard for the best deals! There will be pencils, paper, books, scissors, and more.

  2. News & Articles : Do You Sponsor a Child in Haiti?

The Haiti Education Mission Trip team departs on April 17. We know that some of our members sponsor a child in Haiti. If you would like to send your child a small gift, we are happy to deliver it to them.

Please let Kelly Leder know if you are interested in sending a gift to your sponsored child or have any questions. We will make arrangements to meet and collect the gifts.

  3. News & Articles : Patterns, Puzzles, Parts

“Tell me, I forget. Show me, I remember. Involve me, I understand.”

Westminster, please join us from April 14-21 in Menelas, Haiti, for a week of teaching, sharing, learning, and loving.

WPC teaching teams (with translators) will work directly with children in classes for age 4 through 2nd grade. We’ll use curricula – Patterns, Puzzles, Parts – created by our own talented teachers at Westminster. With hands-on learning, we’ll cover manipulatives, science, math, art, and music. We need at least five more teachers or helpers to complete our team.

Make a difference. Change your life. Give these kids more tools for success. Come with us!

    • Sign-up deadline is February 5
    • Creole classes begin the week of January 8
    • Supplies and donations will be collected in February and March
    • Classroom practice sessions will take place in March

To sign up or ask questions, contact Dorene Palermo. See additional details and watch a video about Menelas.
