  2. News & Articles : A Gaga Pit for WPC

If you have been over near the new property, you may have noticed a red octagonal structure across from the cabin. It is a gaga pit, constructed as part of an Eagle project by a Troop 451 Boy Scout. Gaga is a fast-paced, high-energy sport played in a gaga pit. ”Dubbed a kinder, gentler version of dodge ball, the game is played with a soft foam ball, and combines the skills of dodging, striking, running, and jumping, while trying to hit opponents with a ball below the knees.” (Gaga Center, “What is Gaga?”) The pit is available for all to use. Grab a gaga ball and have fun!

  5. News & Articles : Two Sacred Sacraments

At the heart of our faith tradition are two sacred sacraments: baptism and communion. Mystery surrounds the acts of faithfulness in both sacraments. Two classes have been designed for children currently in second grade, and at least one parent or grandparent, to come closer to these mysteries and gain an understanding of their significance in our lives of faith.

Our classes will take place in the 2nd Grade classroom (Room G2, lower level) from 9:30-10:45am on the following dates:

    • Baptism: Sunday, March 11
    • Communion: Sunday, March 18
