  1. News : Advent Potluck and Sing-Along

    After the Children’s Christmas Pageant, come the the Fellowship Hall at 5pm for the Advent Potluck Dinner. Bring your favorite holiday dish to share – main dish, bread or rolls, salad, or dessert. Beverages will be provided.

    Following the delicious meal, continue the evening of fun and fellowship with the Advent Sing-Along at 6pm. The Cleary family will emcee this time of joyful song. You won’t want to miss the "Partridge in a Pear Tree"!

     


  2. News : Hark the Little Angels Sing!

    Sunday School children ages 2-5 will sing at the 11am worship service on Sunday, Decemeber 18.

    The children, teachers, and the Guitar Man will go directly to the 11am worship service from Sunday School on Sunday morning, December 18, and will sing at the beginning of the worship service. We will sing the following two songs in this order:

    1. "Go Tell It on the Mountain" (music and lyrics)

    2. "The Friendly Beasts" (music and lyrics)

    Please make every effort to learn the music and words, and come prepared to sing these great Christmas songs with the Guitar Man on Sunday, December 18. The children have been singing very well in Sunday School, and I look forward to a beautiful program on December 18.

  4. News : Lovefeast Time!

    Westminster’s Lovefeast service will be held on December 4 at 5pm in the Sanctuary. All 6th – 12th graders are needed to participate. A dress rehearsal will be held during Youth Group on November 27. Please contact Taylor Lewis Guthrie Hartman with questions.


  5. News : Advent Dinner & Bible Study 2011

    Westminster’s midweek Advent Dinner & Bible Study will take place on Wednesdays November 30, December 7, and December 14 this year. The schedule for these nights will be:

    5:30-6:15pm

    Family Dinner
    Cost: Free-will donation
    Please make reservations to Barb Schmidt at 489-4974 or bschmidt@wpcdurham.org by the Monday before each dinner to help us provide adequate food.

    6:30-7:30pm

    Adult Bible Study*
    The class will be led by WPC staff. It is based on Thoughtful Christian Advent materials. Lessons can be picked up on the table in the Mission Center.

    *Childcare will be provided for the Bible Study by reservation only. Contact Nancy Rozak at 489-4974 or nancy@wpcdurham.org by the Monday prior to the study to reserve a place for your child(ren).
