We have answered God’s call in Micah 6:8 in these and so many other ways during our 55 years as a congregation. On Sunday, April 15, we invite you to celebrate where we’ve been together, how our capital campaign will equip us for the future, and the ways God is at work in all of it.
Our capital campaign, Making Room: For Mission. For Community. For Faith., will enable us to serve others better, building on the foundation of those who came before and preparing space for generations to come. This is an exciting moment in the life of our church and we want everyone to be a part of it!
Please join us for a Celebration Breakfast in the Fellowship Hall from 9:45-10:45am on Sunday, April 15. Church School will take place as usual for 4th grade and under; Church School for 5th grade and above will not take place that morning. Please RSVP online by Sunday, April 1, or call 919-489-4974.
Menu: Egg and cheese frittata, hash brown potatoes, French toast sticks with syrup, fresh fruit, assorted pastries, muffins, bagels, juice, coffee, hot tea
On Sunday, April 15, we’ll also have Ministry Sunday at the 8:30 and 11am worship services. We’ll hear about and reflect on the ways Westminster’s missions and ministries change lives in the congregation, in Durham, and beyond.
All are invited to come to campus for a Prayer Walk on Saturday, April 21, as we prepare to make our commitments to the capital campaign during worship on Sunday, April 22.
The Prayer Walk will start in our original sanctuary, the Fellowship Hall, and go from there to the Memorial Garden, then to the Parlor, and finally to the Sanctuary. At each stop on the walk, we will have an opportunity for reflection. You can come any time between 10am-2pm that day, and do the Prayer Walk at your own pace.
If you would like to join the WPC Prayer Team, please contact Amy Simonson (email@example.com) or Ginger Smith (919-489-9855).
Grab a friend or family member and invite them up to the Interview Room in Room 203. We’ve set up a space for you to come and interview one another so that we might hear your stories about why Westminster matters in your life.
The Interview Room will be open every Sunday morning until April 8 for you to record a video interview. Note that videos will be shared with the congregation on Westminster’s website and Facebook page. Recording an interview indicates your permission for having your video shared.
