A look at symbols and seals that have been used to represent Presbyterianism and Reformed and Presbyterian churches from Calvin to the present. This talk promises to be fascinating, and you will surely learn something new about our “colorful” Presbyterian heritage.
Alec Peters is originally from Tarboro, NC, where he grew up in Howard Memorial Presbyterian Church. He has lifelong interests both in Presbyterian history and in the history and use of symbols. He is an elder and choir member at West Raleigh Presbyterian Church. A retired lawyer, Alec and his wife Sarah, an artist and yoga instructor, are the parents of Walker (25) and Lila (22).
