Spring Inquirers’ Class ~ Begins May 5
Interested in learning more about WPC or becoming a member? The next Inquirers’ Class begins on Sunday, May 5, 9:45-10:45am, in Room 205. This no-obligation class is a great chance to get to know fellow inquirers, meet our church staff and leaders, and learn how you can grow and serve at Westminster. The class will meet on three Sundays – May 5, 12, and 19. Space is limited so that we might get to know one another well. Please RSVP to Barb Schmidt.

Speaker: Tom Miller of Preservation DurhamCome and hear the fascinating histories of white and African-American cemeteries in our city. Tom Miller of Preservation Durham regularly researches and writes about the history of Old Durham homes and cemeteries. He developed a tour of Maplewood Cemetery, which is given on a regular basis, and is working on the preservation of Geer Cemetery and a tour of Beechwood Cemetery.
Dinner will be served at 5:45pm in the Fellowship Hall. Cost is $5 per person, $3 per child (under 12), and $20 max per family. Sign up by May 13 at http://bit.ly/myWPCevent.

It’s a Pillowcase Palooza!
May 3-4, 10:00am-4:00pmWPC’s Mission Stitches sewing ministry has set a goal of making 100 pillowcases this month for Duke and UNC’s pediatric hospitals. Pillowcase Palooza will be held May 3-4, 10:00am-4:00pm, in Rooms 203 and 209. Anyone can participate – the pillowcase kits are easy to assemble, and sewing mentors will be on hand to guide you. This is a great project for learning to sew or refreshing your sewing skills. Join us!
