  1. News : 2017 Christmas Eve Offering

At Westminster, we have a tradition of giving generously to the Christmas Eve offering. The offering will be split between CASA and Urban Ministries of Durham. CASA will use your donations to renovate affordable apartments in Durham for seniors, veterans, people living with disabilities, and working families earning a low wage. UMD will use your donations to build storage lockers for clients at the homeless shelter to keep their belongings in during their stay.

The offering will be collected at the Christmas Pageant and both Christmas Eve services. You can give any time before Christmas in these ways:

    • Drop a check off to the church office
    • Give online via myWPC
    • Text “WPCDURHAM $50.00” to 73256 (adjust donation amount as needed; standard text messaging rates may apply)

Open your heart and give generously as you come into Christ’s presence this Christmas.

  4. News : Thank You for Taking the Next Step!

This has been a wonderful season of remembering and celebrating the work God has been doing at and through Westminster! From the stewardship conversations we had throughout October, to welcoming our partner Pastor Leon from Haiti, to “taking the next step” together on Reformation Sunday – God has surely been at work.

You have responded to God’s call to take the next step in amazing ways. So far, we have received 237 Estimates of Giving, totaling $957,780. We’ve received 27 new Estimates of Giving and 122 members and families increased their giving. We are on track to be in a strong position as we enter 2018, funding all of the missions and ministries that make a difference in our lives and our community.

If you have not yet made your Estimate of Giving you can do so by 1) emailing your Estimate of Giving details to Office Manager Elizabeth Takla or 2) making your Estimate of Giving online via myWPC.
