SPIRITUAL ENRICHMENT WEEKEND October 20-21, 2007 with Frances Taylor Gench Join us as we welcome Frances Taylor Gench to WPC. She is a professor of New Testament at Union/PSCE Theological Seminary. Our first event is a potluck dinner on Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, followed by a discussion in the Sanctuary on the topic “Arguing About Scripture: Johannine Epistles, Presbyterians, and Dirty Laundry.” On Sunday morning, Dr. Gench will preach at both services. She will also lead a Sunday School class (at 9:45 a.m. in the Music Room) in a discussion of “Women in the Biblical World: Reframing Foremothers in the Faith.” Mark your calendars now and make plans to attend these inspirational events!
