God Loves Us

A survey of select Old and New Testament Scriptures reveals dynamic and encouraging aspects of God’s constant love for humankind. God’s love is central to our Christian faith and experience. Our study of this key theme can enrich our understandings and give us a much deeper gratitude for the lives we live – loved by God, through faith in Jesus Christ, by the sustaining power of the Holy Spirit.

A popular chorus some years ago sang: “Love, love, love, love; the Gospel in a word is love.” In this season of the church year, we see God’s love focused in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and that love indwelling and leading the church and our own lives by the work of the Holy Spirit.
