Quick Reminders from the Health Ministry
10-22-08

• Our exercise class, led by Julie Hardison, meets on Saturday
mornings at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
People of all ages, genders, and levels of fi tness are
welcome!! If you happen to have an exercise or yoga
mat, please bring it, but there is no equipment required
for participation!

• A Support Group for people who are caregivers will
meet the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
If you are caring for an aging parent, ailing spouse, or
caring for other loved ones, please come. You will get,
and give, support and strength from other members of
our faith family who are struggling with similar issues.
Join us in Room 207 of the Holderness Mission Center.

• We are still looking for volunteers for our new Visitation
Ministry. The purpose of this ministry is to let
those who can no longer come to join us at WPC know
that they are not forgotten, and that we still value them
as members of our community. No special skills needed
- just a small amount of time and a large amount of
love.

I am leading a Sunday School class called “Living Fully,
Dying Well.” This is an opportunity to talk openly and
honestly about the mystery of this last great experience
of life in this world, as viewed through the lenses of our
Christian faith. Our focus will be on how to live fully so
that when our time for the fi nal journey arrives, we are
ready. People of all ages will fi nd something valuable in
this course. Please join us.

For more information about these opportunities, please
contact Kay Wellemeyer (kay@wpcdurham.org or 489-
4974).
