The newsletters are in a special format called PDF. PDF files must be
viewed by a "plug-in" (or "helper application") for
your browser called the Adobe Acrobat Reader (Adobe is the company name).
If you are lucky your
computer already has the Reader plug-in and you can click on a newsletter date
link to the left and you can view the newsletter for that date.
Try clicking on the date
link.
If you are unlucky and do
not have the plug-in, when you click on the link, you will get a more or
less cryptic message to the effect that the browser does not know
what to do with the PDF formatted file. Or you may get a version of
the newsletter, but the pictures may not be displaying properly (this
could happen if you have a version of Acrobat earlier than version 4.0).
In either case you will need to download and
install the Acrobat plug-in by clicking on the yellow box below. This will take you
to Adobe's website. (It's an 8-meg file and will take quite a while to
download if you are on a dial-up connection.) Try to follow their instructions on how to download
and setup the Acrobat Reader. Don't download anything except the free Reader.
Ignore their pitch to buy the Writer.
Here's the box to click to download
