David Crabtree, award-winning reporter and news anchor for WRAL, is also an ordained vocational deacon in the Episcopal Church with a focus on death row and hospice care. We have invited David to join us and share his own grapplings of faith during these complex days. His remarks will focus on these questions:
- Given the current sociopolitical climate, how do you think communities of faith can engage more deeply with the issues we face?
- Who are the people of faith that you see making a way forward?
Before David’s remarks, we’ll watch the WRAL documentary “Faith, Fear and Freedom,” which explores the lives of Muslims living in our state and examines the anti-Islamic prejudice and discrimination that is fueled by the actions of Islamic extremists.
Please join us in the Music Room on March 15. No sign-up is required for Aperture, but please sign up for Wednesday Dinner.
