Here is Thomas Tallis’ gorgeous piece, Lamentations of Jeremiah, often sung during Holy Week services. Those who attended the March 7th Lenten class may be especially interested.  Note that the occasional "pinch" one hears in this music (for example, an F natural & an F sharp occuring simultaneously, though in different parts) are examples of the very sophisticated 16th-c. English polyphonic style, representing a true blossoming in western choral music.  Enjoy.
