Introducing our new Session Moderator

Bob Fields has been called to serve as our Session Moderator
until our congregation calls an interim pastor. In
addition to moderating Session meetings, he will also offer
guidance to our church officers during this transition
period.

Bob earned a doctorate of ministry from Union Theological
Seminary in Virginia. He received his first call and was
ordained in 1960 at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in
Elkview, West Virginia. Bob retired in 1998 after 25 years
as senior pastor of Hudson Memorial Presbyterian Church
in Raleigh. Since his retirement, he has served as an interim
minister for 3 churches, including a stint in Maui, Hawaii.
