Facing Racism: A Vision of the Intercultural Community

Beginning this Sunday, March 5, the senior high Church School teachers will partner with the senior high youth in hosting a discussion fashioned around the PC(USA)’s anti-racism policy, “Facing Racism: A Vision of the Intercultural Community.”

This six-week series is designed to bring adults in all stages of life and youth together for honest, open sharing about race in our country and in our culture. Each lesson is based on topics and concepts covered in the church-wide anti-racism policy including:

  • Biblical Imperatives to Anti-racism
  • Envisioning a New Way of Life Together
  • PC(USA) and Racial Reconciliation
  • Racism 101
  • Enduring Legacy of Racism in the U.S.
  • Responding as a Community of Faith
