Dementia: Navigating the Long Unknown

The prevalence of dementia-related illnesses is said to be on a marked upswing, affecting ever more family members and friends. Please plan to join us for this important and informative series hosted by Westminster’s Mental Health Task Force.
Planned topics include:
- What’s New and What’s True in Alzheimer’s Disease
- I Am Still With You: A Theological Approach to Dementia
- Family Care: What Happens, What Helps
Local mental health professionals, including Dr. Mitchell T. Heflin of Duke University School of Medicine and Bonnie Thommarson of Home Instead Senior Care, will serve as guest speakers. Movie Nights are planned for Friday, September 22 (Iris), and Friday, October 6 (Still Alice).
There is no registration for the series on Sundays, but please sign up to attend the movie nights on Fridays.
