Worship Commission  

The Commission on Worship consists of a group of men and women who thoughtfully and prayerfully consider all aspects of corporate worship at Westminster Presbyterian Church.   

Duties of the Worship Commission include: 

• Making recommendations concerning worship to the Session.
• Listening to and responding to the concerns and suggestions of members, guests, and ministers.
• Arranging for worship leaders including ushers, greeters, lectors, and acolytes.
• Facilitating and supervising many of the arrangements for weddings held at Westminster (wedding directors, logistics).
• Offering and facilitating services and information to the families of those whose funerals are held at Westminster (logistics and receptions).

Major activities and accomplishments of 2007 include:

• Implementation of new Communion guidelines.
• Implementation of changes in the order of Sunday morning services.
• Implementation of changes in the service of Baptism.
• Implementation of new Wedding Guidelines and appointment of new Chair of Wedding Committee.
• Implementation of new Sunday evening services once a month.
