Chancel Choir, the big weekend is coming up!  Join us Saturday morning, Dec. 10th, at 10 for our dress rehearsal; we’ll present our Advent lessons & carols program at both morning worship services on Sun., Dec. 11th.  More details follow.

On Saturday, Dec. 10th, please join us in the sanctuary for our dress rehearsal.  The rehearsal is mandatory for all participants (unless you have cleared your absence with me ahead of time) & goes from 10 a.m. until 12:30.  Coffee & snacks will be available in the parlor kitchen beginning at 9:30 a.m., & we’ll have a break about halfway through the rehearsal.

I trust you’ll be responsible for your own music folders throughout the weekend.  But if you are missing anything, I will have extras of all anthems available on the organ console both Saturday & Sunday morning.

On Sunday, December 11th, please meet in the sanctuary at 7:45 a.m. for a brief warm-up.  Between services, join us in the music room for coffee, juice, & bagels.

Dress for Dec. 11th is our black & white combination.  For men:  tux (without the jacket) & bow tie; if you don’t own a tux, black trousers with white shirt & bow tie is fine.  For women:  Black skirt (any length, though longer is preferred) or black slacks with white or ivory blouse.

This Thursday night, an optional women’s part rehearsal is scheduled for 7 p.m in the music room.  Most of our 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. rehearsal will be devoted to the Dec. 11th program.

Upcoming. . .Join us for Christmas caroling on Tuesday, Dec. 13th (meet in WPC parking lot at 6 p.m.; we’ll take the church bus, but always need some private cars to travel along as well); join us for Christmas cookies in the church parlor after caroling.

Also upcoming. . .No choir rehearsal on Thurs., Dec. 15th.  You deserve a night off!  The choir won’t be singing on Sun., Dec. 18th (bell choir plays instead).  We will rehearse on Thurs., Dec. 22nd, & we’ll sing for the 8 p.m. worship service on Christmas Eve.

As always, don’t hesitate to call or e-mail me with questions / concerns.  Thanks for sharing your time & talents with us.

Advent/Christmas blessings to you & yours!
