Westminster Presbyterian Church in Durham, NC, has an immediate need for a full-time, salaried Communication Coordinator. The Communication Coordinator works to keep the community aware of and engaged in the church’s mission and ministries through clear, consistent, and high-quality communication. This involves producing a wide range of publications; maintaining Westminster’s website and social media accounts; and helping church committees share their messages effectively.
The Communication Coordinator works closely with staff and volunteers to develop publicity for Westminster’s missions and ministries. This position requires someone who can think strategically about how opportunities are articulated to various audiences within and outside of the congregation. The Communication Coordinator employs creativity and innovation in tackling these challenges.
