43. The church that we currently have would serve as an excellent example of how the church should be in the future.  Caring for our own, as well as the surrounding community.
44. One where the feeling of community that we have today has been sustained. Maybe we shouldn't "TALK" during the prelude and postlude, but when you come into God's house and you see all the wonderful people who are there, it seems only right and polite to folks raised in the SOUTH to acknowledge, speak to, reach out and touch our brothers and sisters in Christ. I wouldn't want to lose that warm sense of family we have that has come from working together, playing together, singing lustily together, helping each other and helping people less fortunate than we are. We came to Westminster because the church was more focused on others than on self. It is through helping others TOGETHER we have become a family. We need to sustain that for now and the future.

48.
I would like there to be included in Sunday School lessons and sermons, an emphasis on the Christian ethics connection to caring for this wonderful planet God has given us so that our children, grandchildren and unborn generations can experience the blessing of a livable planet.  The full support of Haywood during his entire tenure to projects connected to this has deepened my faith, as I felt, as Haywood did, that God has spoken to us about this.
