On 3 October 2007, Clerk of Session Doug Wellemeyer notified members that Moderator Jack Walchenbach had requested and was thereby convening a called meeting of the session of Westminster Presbyterian Church (“WPC”) via email, for the purposes of: 1) authorizing the baptism of Kaitlynn Lee Mouton on Sunday 14 October 2007 at 11:00 A.M., and 2) electing two elder commissioners to the 20 October 2007 stated meeting of the Presbytery of New Hope at Outer Banks Presbyterian Church in Kill Devil Hills, NC.

Baptism:

Motion: Sara Pottenger moved, and John Graham seconded, that the session authorize the baptism of Kaitlynn Lee Mouton, daughter of Jaco and Cindy Mouton, on Sunday 14 October 2007 at 11:00 A.M.

Election of Commissioners to Stated Presbytery Meeting:

Motion: Bruce Cunningham moved, and John Graham seconded, that the session elect June Jones and Susan Landis as WPC’s elder commissioners to the 20 October 2007 stated meeting of the Presbytery of New Hope.

As of 4 October 2007, all twelve of the elders had voted via email in favor of both motions.
