Sundays, February 22-March 29: An Introduction to Spiritual Practices
Facilitator: Amy Hill
9:45-10:30am in the Sanctuary

Our lives are busy. We work hard at our jobs, care for our families, and serve the community around us in various ways. We believe we cannot possibly add one more thing to our very full plates. Yet we also crave time to be with God. We long to make space for prayer or Bible study, but it feels like one more thing to fit in. Sometimes it feels like God is something very remote, impossible to sense or know.

Lent is a dark time, but it is also a good time for introspection. If it is your tradition to take something on or give something up for Lent, consider a new Church School class during Lent: "Making Room for God: An Introduction to Spiritual Practices" will meet on Sunday mornings from February 22 to March 29.

Over the six weeks of Lent, we will explore ancient spiritual practices that are part of our worship heritage but have been discarded over time. In the process, we hope you will find a practice that is meaningful to you.

Because church staff and the choir need access to the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings, we will begin promptly at 9:45am and end promptly by 10:30am.
